Following the tradition of past CSCE Construction Specialty Conferences, the 7th Graduate Student Colloquium in Construction will be held on May 24th and 25th, 2021, immediately prior to the start of the CSCE conference. This event will be online this year.

The colloquium aims to provide an opportunity for construction graduate students from around the country to showcase their research work, and also network and engage with other graduate students, academic researchers and industry practitioners in the field.

To be eligible to participate, students must be enrolled in a construction graduate program at the time of the colloquium and must present a poster on their research work during the event.

The first day of the colloquium will include a keynote address, and a technical workshop. The second day will include the research poster session and online competition judged by a jury panel of construction industry practitioners. The top three posters and presenters will be announced at the awards ceremony.

Thanks to financial support from the CSCE, the colloquium is free of charge to participating graduate students, but space is limited. If interested in participating, please fill out the registration form in the link below by March 15th, 2021 at the latest.

Submitted abstracts will be reviewed with selected participants notified in due course. Selected participants will be required to upload a 5-minute recorded video presentation of their poster to the Colloquium website.

The first day of the colloquium will be held on Monday, May 24th, 2021. Our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Lloyd Waugh, will give us a presentation about his journey in photogrammetry and 3D scanning research.
